The Pizza Chain With The Absolute Cheapest Chicken Wings

Little Caesars has long been known for its budget-friendly pizzas. So, it should come as no surprise that they also boast the cheapest chicken. The franchise actually advertised chicken way back when its first storefront opened in a Detroit suburb in 1959, but it's only been in more recent years that wings have come into the mix. While there are certain tricks to scoring cheaper takeout food, in an economy where food prices increased 3.3% between March 2025 and March 2026 (per 2026 Bureau of Labor Statistics data), Little Caesars' wing deal stands out without any extra effort required. Exact options can vary by location, but Little Caesars restaurants generally offer eight bone-in "Caesar wings" available in four different flavors all for between just $7.99 and $8.99. This is better than all other national pizza chains, and even other restaurant chains known for wings.

While these prices are an increase from when the wings first debuted in 2011 at $5.99, it's still extremely competitive. For example, when looking at other chains known for wings, Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) doesn't even offer an eight-piece bone-in wing option, selling only six-piece, 10-piece, and 15-piece boxes starting between around $12 and $20. Also, even though Wingstop is one of the more popular and lucrative franchise restaurants in the U.S., its prices also fall short with an eight-piece wing order costing anywhere from roughly $12 to $17.99, while Hooters' pricing starts at six wings for $10.39 and up.

Little Caesars' wing deals are the best among pizza chains

According to Thrillist, pizza chains serving wings owe the idea to New York's La Nova Pizza, which began adding buffalo wings to pizza orders back in the 1990s. As such, chicken wings are now permanent menu items at many national pizza chains, and it's on the pizza chain playing field that Little Caesars' wing deals really shine. Despite launching its WingStreet brand in 2003 — earlier than Little Caesars' wing offerings – Pizza Hut's chicken wings start at $9.99 for a six-piece and go up from there. Then there's Dominos, which starts at eight pieces for $10.99, and Papa Johns which starts at $9.50 for six or $12.50 for eight.

Another leg up for Little Caesars is its Caesar wings and crazy bread combo, which consists of eight wings plus an order of bread sticks for $9.99. To be fair, Pizza Hut also offers a combo "My Hut Box" for $6.99 that allows customers to add an order of boneless wings and pair it with a side such as fries, but this is only available with orders of six wings. Plus, if you want traditional bone-in wings, that box jumps up to a starting price of $10.99.

Affordable wings are only one part of Little Caesars' success

Sales data from previous years shows that Little Caesars is maintaining its competitive edge. Total U.S. sales for 2024 put the chain in third place behind Pizza Hut and Domino's, according to PMQ's 2026 Pizza Power Report. Although Little Caesars' $4.93 billion in total sales for 2024 was behind both Domino's ($9.5 billion) and Pizza Hut ($5.29 billion), it marked an 11.54% growth over the previous year — exceeding Domino's 5.32% growth. Meanwhile, Pizza Hut's sales shrank from 2023 and 2024, as did Papa John's (in fourth place for total sales). Of course, offering cheap wings isn't solely to thank for Little Caesars' success — it relies heavily on high-volume sales rather than trying to profit off of individual items.

While many restaurant chains have struggled in recent years thanks to high operating costs and shifting consumer preferences, Little Caesars has navigated these hurdles by expanding across non-traditional locations like airports and amusement parks. Additionally, Little Caesars announced in April 2026 that it had partnered with ChatGPT to provide more customized ordering options through its app. Whether or not this will lead to more chicken wing sales remains to be seen, but for now, they remain one of the best deals around.
